Description
A high definition image of an architectural masterpiece, the Blue Mosque, located in Istanbul, Turkey. The interior of the mosque is lined with over 20,000 handmade ceramic tiles and more than 200 stain glass windows intricately designed to allow natural light to fill the domes and archways. The Blue Mosque was built between 1609 and 1616 and is still an active mosque.
