Description
An absolutely beautiful spot a pleasant walk West from Housesteads Crag is Sycamore Gap. It was made famous by the film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Walking along Hadrian's Wall you desend upon this gorgeous Sycamore tree rising between the two hills standing between this ancient Roman wall. It's absolutely breathtaking. Hadrian's Wall is an absolutely stunning part of Northumberland. (the above text was taken from Your Northumberland Guide).
