I loved the heart shape drawn as the light shined through the branches of a large tree outside our home. Keeping my camera blurred, I snapped this photo and was inspired to create a poster or greeting card using the photo, textures, and this little poem written by me and dedicated to my husband; I call it "Loyal."
To be loyal is to be faithful to a person to whom fidelity is due. I have been married 33 years and my husband and myself have weathered some very difficult circumstances over the past five years; a murder, the loss of his father and my mother, as well as two very difficult work related events. With that said, It has been our loyality and commitment one to another that has gotten us through these difficult days. It reads:
What I know for sure, I strain to see,
It's found in who I know you to be;
Loyal and committed to our vows,
Trustworthy and honest then and now.
